Unique and utilitarian vintage timepieces, qualifiers that are in like a raging tsunami, are rarely embodied better than a classic Rolex with dive strap. Granted, one of the biggest hurdles when purchasing a vintage timepiece is not just finding solid product, but identifying a trustworthy procurement source. Worse, the two in tandem are practically rarified gold. Turn your attention to Antiquorum’s June 10th auction, Lot 63: a vintage British Military Rolex Perpetual Oyster Submariner (Ref. 5513) or just look above.
We’ll give you a moment to swoon before hitting the jump. Brought to our attention by A Continuous Lean.
Take NoteIf you’re wondering how the hell to go about buying a vintage watch, you can find a fantastic write-up over at Men’s Journal or read our very own Jason Heaton’s account of becoming a budding collector. Capital “C”.
