Every day, our team filters through hundreds of style articles, clothing pieces, collection launches, brand parties, blogger fads, runway shows, fashion shoots, lookbooks and many, many more stimuli to stay on top of what’s hot in men’s fashion. In spite of all that noise, we’ll keep things simple here: just four things we’re into right now.
Seiko Prospex Street Series
Seiko is well-known for its sports watch collection, the Prospex Series. These uniquely-shaped cases have become iconic — think of the Tuna can, the Turtle and the Samurai — and are very much the identity of Seiko. The next evolution of that set is the new Prospex Street Series. The three Prospex Street Series timepieces slim down the fabled Tuna can case and bezel a bit into a modern sports watch meant for everyday wear. Offered in three monochrome colorways (green, blue and gray), the durable solar divers have a silicone strap and dial that feature a coordinating texture to resemble the urban aesthetic of pavement. Offering a snug, comfortable wear the Prospex Street Series is a go-to everyday sports watch for urbanites and beyond. — Gear Patrol
Columbia x Opening Ceremony Powder Keg IC Parka
For the third collaboration between Columbia and Opening Ceremony, the two brands brought back vibes from the ’80s and ’90s with lots of electric blue coloring and cozy styling. The Powder Keg Parka is a 3-in-1 jacket that has a waterproof outer shell and a reversible zip-out jacket. The inner jacket features a water-resistant shell on one side and a color-blocked sherpa pile fleece on the other. This one has us excited that winter is practically here.
Dsptch x 3sixteen Waxed Canvas Daypack
To celebrate the 15th anniversary of premium denim brand 3sixteen, San Francisco-based Dsptch teamed up with the brand to release a limited-edition capsule collection. The centerpiece of which is a 23L premium daypack made from a water-resistant heavyweight 18-ounce waxed twill. It includes premium details like YKK Racquet Coil luggage-grade zippers, Duraflex mil-spec hardware and a 410D nylon pack cloth lining. Backed by a lifetime guarantee, it’s a premium backpack you can have forever.
Adidas Pod-S3.1 Shoes
The hype for the Adidas Pod-S3.1 spanned the entire summer and fall until Adidas finally dropped the sneaker in October. It features a three-piece sole combining a variety of technologies Adidas makes — a Boost heel, a point of deflection bridge and a high-rebound EVA forefoot. Bringing heavy ’90s styling in the colors, the Pod-S3.1 is a comfy sneaker that meets the lofty expectations set by sneakers like the Adidas favorite Ultraboost.
