This masculine new dive watch from Mühle-Glashütte is dark and serious, with tough German tool watch-cred to back up its mean looks.

As an established maker of nautical instruments and no-nonsense German tool watches, Mühle-Glashütte manufactures some of the most serious dive watches you could possibly want. The new Sea-Timer BlackMotion is just that, with a solid and chunky 300m of water-resistance, German design, and tough German engineering. Above all, it looks the part with its black, almost tactical color-scheme paired with minimalist but highly legible dial.

Following a similar form as other Mühle-Glashütte dive watches with a 4 o’clock crown and notched bezel, the Sea-Timer BlackMotion measures 44mm wide and 12.5mm thick in steel that’s PVD-coated with black titanium carbide. The sapphire crystal alone measures 2.5mm thick and is treated with an antireflective coating. Inside is a Swiss Sellita SW 200-1 automatic movement with 38 hours of power reserve and the brand’s own woodpecker neck regulation system that promises an accuracy of zero to +8 seconds per day.

The thoroughly badass Mühle-Glashütte Sea-Timer BlackMotion has a price of $2,599.
