In celebration of the collection’s 70th anniversary, Panerai just dropped a brand-new version of its famed, military-inspired diver, the Luminor Marina, this time featuring a beautiful blue “satiné solei” (satin sunray pattern) dial.

Developed in the 1950s for military dive teams as the successor the brand’s Radiomir watches, Luminor models are equipped Panerai’s now-iconic crown protection system, sandwich dial and cushion-shaped case. The new Luminor Marina (PAM01313) is 44mm in diameter, features green-glowing Super-LumiNova and the Panerai P.9010 calibre, an automatic movement just 6mm thick with a power reserve of three days. Water-resistant to 300m, it ships with both a dark blue alligator leather strap and a blue rubber strap and retails for $7,700.
