Almost a year ago, Omega released its first watch commemorating the 2026 Winter Olympics.

While it was an absolutely stunning homage to the Seamaster’s original 1948 design, it had little thematic connection to cold-weather athletic competition beyond its gold case, which featured the official logo for the 2026 games on the caseback.

Nearly nine months later, a new Speedmaster emerged that was far more on-brand with the Milano Cortina games, emphasizing the critical role of extremely accurate timekeeping in many events.

Now, with the opening ceremony less than three weeks away, Omega unveils its sportiest and most wintery Olympic watch yet. The nearly all-white Seamaster Diver 300m “Milano Cortina 2026” features a ceramic case, dial and bezel insert, with a titanium crown, caseback, escape valve and bezel frame.

It is based on the blacked-out ceramic and titanium Seamaster Diver 300M introduced in 2019, with the same 43mm width — 1mm wider than the steel model — but with an inverted color scheme.

Disregarding the fact that it is a dive watch promoting mountain sports, this frosty take on Omega’s most popular sports watch is perfectly at home on the snowy slopes of Northern Italy.

So icy

The centerpiece of this Olympic Seamaster Diver 300m is the white ceramic dial plate with a laser-etched frosty motif, featuring a zig-zagging line connecting all eight circular hour markers. Just like the official logo for Milano Cortina 2026, it emulates a finger drawing on frosted glass.

Blue is the only accent color present on the dial, comprising the brand logo and other writing, the segmented seconds track and a lollipop seconds hand fading from a sky blue counter balance to a navy blue tip.

The hour and minute hands match the bezel frame, both with a polished rhodium finish. Blue-glowing Super-LumiNova is used in the hour markers, hour hand and seconds hand, while the minute hand glows green to correspond with the pip.

Like the dial plate, the white ceramic bezel ring is produced by laser, but with an ablating technique to create a 60-minute dive scale in relief, with polished numerals and markers contrasted against a coarse matte background. A small titanium pip is filled with green-glowing Super-LumiNova.

The titanium bezel frame secures a double-AR-coated domed sapphire crystal and features a 12-sided faceted grip.

As is customary for a no-date Seamaster Diver 300M, the “Milano Cortina 2026” reference is powered by Omega’s Calibre 8806 automatic movement, which beats at 3.5Hz and offers a 56-hour power reserve.

The movement is protected and obscured by a titanium caseback, decorated with a laser-engraved relief of the official Milano Cortina 2026 logo, and secured with Omega’s patented NAIAD lock system.
