AltraAltra x and Wander Experience Wild 3+
and Wander and Altra have reunited for a second collaborative effort, this time focusing on the Experience Wild 3+. The limited-edition trail shoe is outfitted in a color palette inspired by nature’s tones and textures, and blends trail-ready tech and street-ready style in one versatile shoe. That tech includes a Vibram Megagrip outsole with TractionLug and an integrated toe bumper. Updates come in the form of new midsole foam, a redesigned heel collar and updated fit construction for a more comfortable ride. The shoe comes in two colorways: Carbon/Silver/Direct Red and Humus/Silver/Direct Red.
Insta360Insta360 Luna Ultra
The Luna Ultra is Insta360’s first-ever handheld gimbal that is designed to compete with DJI’s Osmo Pocket. It features 3-axis stabilization, a dual-lens design and a detachable OLED touchscreen. However, its secret sauce is that it’s been co-engineered with Leica, features the German company’s Summicron lens, and can capture incredibly smooth 8K videos. Additionally, its secondary telephoto lens system is paired with a 1/1.3-inch sensor and F2.0 aperture, which the company claims enables natural bokeh across five focal lengths (up to 12× zoom).
MB&FMB&F HM12 The Guardian
For MB&F’s twelfth horological machine, the brand didn’t just build a watch. It made a robot. The 755-part humanoid forms the home for the watch when it’s off your wrist, with a quick-release system making it easy to switch the watch head from its strap to the robot, where it becomes a literal head. The watch’s dial was designed as the face of the robot, with its jump-hour and trailing minutes discs forming the eyes, its micro-rotor standing in for the mouth and its flying tourbillon sitting up top as the brains of the operation. The watch also features a new “Face Shield” complication that allows you to partially conceal part of the dial by turning the left crown. The robot’s body boasts several fun features of its own, with a mechanical thermometer in its chest, a magnifying glass “shield” integrated into its right arm, a UV flashlight in its left arm and a Super-LumiNova pattern across its body that makes it come alive in the dark. This machine is priced at CHF 280,000, which currently converts to around $351,000.
Reebok JapanReebok x Hidari Kikino Eren Instapump Fury 94
Reebok collaborates with Japanese manga Hidarikiki no Eren on a new edition of its Instapump Fury 94. This unique take on the retro laceless sneaker instantly stands out for its hand-drawn aesthetic, matching the sketchbook style of the series. To land the look, the show’s creator and illustrator Kappi worked closely with the brand to create the shoe, lending his own pen strokes to the final design. Currently, the 2D-inspired silhouette is up for pre-order now through June 21 on Reebok Japan’s website.
PorschePorsche 911 Toy Story Collection
In celebration of the release of Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5, Porsche has crafted a trio of one-off 911s modeled after characters from the film. Along with a Woody Carrera T and Buzz Lightyear GT3 RS, Zuffenhausen also did up a Targa 4 GTS in an eye-catching livery inspired by Jessie. From cowhide floor mats and bright leather upholstery to denim-mimicking paint and bright graphics packages, they make for a head-turning group, and each car amounts to a committed homage. As cool as they look, though, the best part is that all three vehicles will be sold as part of a charitable initiative supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, the American Red Cross and Starlight Children’s Foundation.
