When it comes to luxury dive watches, Panerai’s offerings have always stood out from the crowd.
The brand’s signature Luminor is no ordinary dive watch. It’s an oversized shaped watch with a unique crown protection system, and it lacks a traditional dive-time bezel. In 1998, Panerai launched the Submersible, complete with a rotating bezel, as its take on a more traditional diver.
The Submersible has still always felt more like an anomaly than a true competitor to luxury divers from Rolex, Omega and others. But that changes now, as Panerai has just launched its most traditional dive watch yet with its latest Submersible.

Brace yourself
The big change on the new Submersible, Reference PAM01756, is the addition of a stainless steel bracelet. Now, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen a Panerai bracelet before. In fact, you can get this same bracelet on the 44mm Luminor Marina. But it is the first time a 44mm Submersible has been equipped with any bracelet, period.
The bracelet’s unique link design was inspired by Panerai’s signature crown guard, creating a cohesive aesthetic. The bracelet’s clasp is also equipped with the brand’s Quick Length Adjustment feature, which offers 2mm of travel on each side for adjustments on the go without requiring any tools. It’s the first time this feature has appeared on any Submersible.
