For those unfamiliar, Triumph Factory Custom is a very exclusive strain of motos, characterized by limited quantity, enhanced performance, design innovation and premium finishes.

So restricted is this club, Triumph has welcomed just four members since its launch in 2019.

That is, until now, as the new Speed Twin 1200 TFC joins the Thruxton TFC, Rocket 3 TFC and two editions of the Bobber TFC.

As stunning as the bike is at a glance, it also boasts a number of details that prove it’s worthy of the coveted TFC badge.

Style meets substance

As the name implies, TFC-badged bikes feel uniquely bespoke right off the factory floor. Limited to just 750 units worldwide (including 180 for the US market), the new Speed Twin 1200 is no exception.

A number of unique elements make it special, including carbon fiber bodywork, machined bar-end mirrors, a leather and suede bench seat, gold chain and fork lowers and blacked-out detailing throughout.

Adding to the exclusive nature are the distinctive paint scheme, known as Obsidian Gold, plus unique TFC badging, individual numbering and a certificate of authenticity.

Beyond pure aesthetics, a number of additional touches are geared toward enhancing the actual riding experience.

These include clip-on bars for a more engaged, aggressive posture, plus fully adjustable Öhlins front and rear suspension.

Meanwhile, premium Brembo brakes boost responsiveness and glorious Akrapovič titanium silencers enhance every purr and roar of the engine’s signature sound.

Speaking of the engine, Triumph’s 1200cc Bonneville twin is a punchy one, responsive low in the rev range, with 83 ft-lb of torque available from just 4,250 rpm.

Meanwhile, the peak power of 105 horsepower at 7,750 rpm translates to lively acceleration with every blissful twist of the throttle.

As a “Modern Classic,” the bike loads up on rider-friendly tech, including Triumph Shift Assist and a ride-by-wire throttle providing Sport, Road and Rain settings, plus advanced safety systems including Optimized Cornering ABS and Traction Control. 

Even the classically circular instrument dial is high-tech, offering a large LCD display with a color TFT screen controlled by handlebar inputs, complete with an integrated USB-C charging port.

The same goes for the lighting system, as the round LED headlight boosts visibility while throwing a distinctive light signature.

After all, when your bike looks this good, you most definitely want to see and be seen.

Availability and pricing

The Speed Twin 1200 TFC is available to order now, starting at $21,995, with arrival at dealerships beginning in October 2026. It is limited to 750 units worldwide, with 180 coming to the US.
