This New Mountain Bike Is So Light, You Might Forget It’s Electric

Specialized cuts five pounds off of what was already its lightest full power e-MTB. Plus, a cure for your clunky old tent, Buck Mason perfects the slip-on skate sneaker and more.

Specialized S-Works Turbo Levo R Ultralight

Specialized just can’t stop streamlining its highest-performance rides, as the latest Levo, the brand’s lightest full power e-MTB yet at just 41.5 pounds, reminds us. The bike is a stunning five pounds lighter than the standard S-Works Levo R, despite sharing its lightweight carbon frame, S-Works 3.1 motor, 130mm of rear-wheel travel and 140mm fork. Weight savings come from such swap-ins as the Trickstuff Direttissima 4-piston brakes, Roval Control SL VI wheels with Industry Nine Solix hubs and Vonoa Carbon spokes ($2,900, 2.8 pounds per pair) and perhaps most of all a downsized battery: the smaller 600Wh unit weighs 2.6 pounds less than the 840Wh one found on earlier versions.

Puffer Outdoors Inflatable Tent

With room enough for two people (and maybe a dog), the Puffer Outdoors inflatable tent is an incredibly easy addition to any campsite. All you have to do is plug in the included pump, turn it on and you’ve got yourself a spacious, tall, A-frame-style structure in just two minutes flat. Better still, it has its own integrated “air base” (essentially an inflatable mattress), so you don’t have to worry about bringing along any extras. And the exterior is incredibly durable and weatherproof, so it can take whatever you might throw at it. Best of all, packing it up is just as simple as putting it up in the first place, making for a relatively affordable (especially compared to Heimplanet) and convenient outdoor sleeping solution.

Buck Mason Moonstar Vintage Decksport Slip-On

Buck Mason expands its partnership with cult Japanese sneaker brand Moonstar by putting a skateboarding twist on the classic slip-on deck shoe. Vans reinterpreted boating sneakers for skateboarding in the 1970s, not far from Buck Mason’s hometown of Venice, California. This slip-on is an elevated homage made in Kurume, Japan, with a pure cotton herringbone canvas upper, a siped natural vulcanized rubber outsole and high-wall foxing. It is available in black or white.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8

Samsung has been by far and away the industry leader when it comes to foldable smartphones. It’s been making them longer, with more variety, than any other Android smartphone manufacturer. Now, Samsung has released the latest generation of its folio and clamshell-style foldables, most of which look like iterative updates. However, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 flips the script by having a brand-new “square” or “wide” folio design. It’s notable because it is the same size/form factor as Apple’s rumored foldable iPhone (expected to launch in September). The 5.5-inch cover display should provide a better content-watching (and messaging) experience without requiring you to open it to its larger 7.6-inch display, which should still be used for multitasking and when you want a more tablet-esque experience.

Available in seven refreshing colorways, including two new hues, Frost and Elderberry, the Travel Tumbler 1.1 Liter will keep hot drinks toasty for hours and cold drinks refreshing for days.

Aston Martin Vanquish 25

Twenty-five years after the debut of the original Vanquish, Aston Martin is marking the milestone with the Vanquish 25. As a limited-edition version of the brand’s most powerful series-production model, the car juxtaposes its thundering 824-hp twin-turbo 5.2-liter V12 with delicate handcrafted beauty courtesy of the Q Division. As such, its Skye Silver paintwork comes complemented by metal foil detailing, bespoke Aston Martin script, as well as a Q Commission exhaust finisher and some stainless steel side strakes. Inside, the interior brings unique perforations and embroidery, laser-etched inlays and three colors in Onyx Black, Oxford Tan and or Phantom Grey. Just 50 examples will be built worldwide, 25 Coupes and 25 Volantes.

Light Flip

Light Phone has been making “dump” phones for years. Designed to fight the addictive nature of today’s social media apps (and doomscrolling), these minimalist phones just have the bare necessities: phone, text, navigation, alarm and music. The Flip stays true to those ethos, but packages it in a nostalgic Motorola Razr-esque design. Yep, it’s the company’s first-ever flip phone. As for price, it comes bundled with a phone plan that starts at $39/month. And it will be available in six color finishes: black, red, yellow, pink, navy blue, and light gray. Expect it to start shipping in April 2027.
