The Chamonix Valley, and Mont Blanc in particular, is a dramatic blend of beauty and brutality, making it a fitting home for one of the world’s most demanding trail races.

Ahead of UTMB in late August, Nike ACG has unveiled Chamo Camo, a new performance trail running collection inspired by the landscapes of Chamonix and the Mont Blanc region.

Stealth mode, activated

Nike ACG’s transformation from a niche sub-label of a global athletic brand into a respected outdoor nameplate has been one of the most impressive turnarounds in recent memory.

The upswing continues with the new collection, which applies a distinctive terrain-inspired camouflage pattern to several apparel and footwear items, helping visually connect each piece to the mountain environments they’re built to explore.

The upcoming Nike ACG Zegama Trail’s new look is designed to blend into the very environments it is built to traverse.

The Zegama Trail, in particular, benefits from the new camo treatment, forging a stronger bond to the alpine trails where it thrives.

The upper features a print inspired by the textures, colors and shadows of the granite, limestone and sandstone formations, as well as the spruce and pine forests, that define the challenging race course.

Paired with a light greenish-grey, stretchy ankle cuff and matching laces and eyestays, along with a coordinating ultra-lightweight ZoomX foam midsole, the Zegama Trail looks more naturally wild than ever.
