Five years ago, Breitling became the official luxury watch partner of the Ironman triathlon. As a maker of hardcore tool watches that have made the brand a favorite of favored by pilots and “sketchy” military personnel, the partnership just made sense.
Breitling’s watches are exceptionally tough, and the brand is one of the few Swiss luxury watchmakers to not abandon quartz technology, with its nigh-indestructible SuperQuartz movements being perfectly suited for the extreme rigors of Ironman competition.
Breitling has just unveiled two new models for the 2026 Ironman World Championships, and they inject an unexpected dose of exotic fun into the line.
From Hawaii to the French Riviera

As usual, this year’s Ironman World Championship will take place in Hawaii. But unlike the past five events, both the men’s and women’s professional and age-group races will take place in the original locale of Kona on the same day, marking the first time that has happened since 2019.
To commemorate Kona’s big day, Breitling has come up with a special edition of the Endurance Pro Ironman Edition featuring light turquoise for the Ironman-branded rubber strap, the rubber surround on the crown and the accent ring on the top chronograph pusher.
