Levi’s is running a sale on select pieces of its Blue Tab collection right now. These jeans are not typically budget-friendly but some of them can be purchased at upwards of $100 off right now.

Blue Tab is Levi’s premium line, distinct from its mainline Red Tab jeans in its broader silhouettes and elevated detailing like thick pleats, wide legs and relaxed fits rather than the straight-leg staples most people associate with the brand. If you’ve been watching the recent drift toward roomier denim and wondering when to buy in, this sale gives you an excuse to check out these silhouettes firsthand.

What Blue Tab actually is

Just last year, Levi’s launched Blue Tab as a way to address a more style-conscious customer without abandoning the brand’s classic denim. Where Red Tab leans on heritage and everyday workwear practicality, Blue Tab draws from archival silhouettes and current fashion trends: wider cuts, higher rises and details like box pleats that you wouldn’t find in the standard lineup.

Levi’s Blue Tab line debuted last year as a premium, fashion-forward collection. Now several pairs of denim are around $100 off.

The tab itself, stitched in blue rather than the familiar red, is the clearest physical signal that you’re looking at the sub-line. It’s still Levi’s, but aimed at a different end of the wardrobe.

The Anchor is the closes to your classic relaxed-fit jeans in style. However, it uses premium materials and construction like Japanese denim.

The jeans worth looking at

Three cuts stand out, all made with premium Japanese denim. The Anchor Relaxed is an approachable entry point. It’s a straight-ish, relaxed cut without the pleat detail. In this sense, it’s closer to what you might already own, but with the extra room and slightly elevated fabric treatment that separates it from the standard 550 or 559.

The Anchor is as low as $194 right now (34 percent off), down from $295. At the time of this writing, most sizes are still available in the Vessel colorway, with the other two (Top Deck and Saddle Rock MIJ) a bit more limited.

The Wide Pleated Crop won’t be for everyone but these are now almost $80 off from Levi’s website.

The Wide Pleated Crop is among the more distinctive offerings in the Blue Tab lineup. Levi’s describes it as a cropped, wide-leg style with front pleats. These things are decidedly aggressive, style-wise. They’re more tailored-adjacent than typical denim, reflecting where men’s casual wear has been moving for the past few seasons. The crop sits above the ankle and works with both sneakers and chunkier footwear. These are $172, down from $250 (31 percent off)

The loose-fit Marker jeans feature the biggest discount right now at 45 percent off.

The Marker Loose rounds out the group. As the name suggests, it’s a looser fit with more volume through the thigh and seat than even the Anchor Relaxed. Sitting toward the more casual end of what Blue Tab offers, this is a five-pocket style with a contemporary, oversized proportion. Right now, these have the biggest discount at 45 percent off, priced at $138 (down from $250).

Now or never

Sales on Levi’s own site tend to run in waves and don’t always repeat on the same styles. Blue Tab in particular doesn’t show up discounted as often as mainline Red Tab jeans, which get rotated through promotional cycles more frequently. If any of these three cuts fit what you’re looking for in denim right now, checking them while the sale is active makes sense.
