2026 Triumph TF 450-X

Triumph follows up last year’s splashy TF 450-RC displacement debutante with a more approachable variant that boasts many of the same compelling qualities — minus the Ricky Carmichael rizz. For $600 less, you get the same chassis, engine and electronics package, highlighted by a 450cc single-cylinder engine making 61.5bhp at 9,500rpm and 36.8lb ft at 7,000rpm. The new bike also weighs slightly less (239.4 pounds dry, vs. 239.42 pounds), giving it bragging rights to a best in class power to weight ratio. That’s not all. A redesigned Exedy clutch hub upgrades durability and torque capacity in extreme conditions, and a new Belleville Clutch Spring boosts clutch response. A more elegant chassis performance comes courtesy of tuned engine mounts, while a new gearbox selector star improves gear selection and engagement.

GoPro Max 2

The GoPro Max 2 is the company’s second-generation 360-degree action camera. Compared to its predecessor, the 2019-released Max, the main upgrade with the Max 2 is its improved video capture capabilities — it can record 360-degree videos up to 8K/30fps and 180-degree videos at up to 4K/60fps. GoPro improved its battery life and audio recording, too. Maybe most notably, the Max 2 starts at $500, meaning GoPro didn’t actually increase the price from the original at all.

Zagato Hypercar

Storied Italian coachbuilder Zagato is collaborating with the Capricorn Group to develop the first in-house hypercar in the brand’s 106-year history. Bearing a striking angular front end and a set of gullwing doors, there’s no question that it will stun. While no specifications have been announced at this stage, the full reveal is slated for October 10th at the Zoute Grand Prix in Belgium.

Montane Kamen Hooded Down Jacket

This down jacket looks cozy, but acts tough. Montane’s featherlight mountaineering jacket packs plenty of fortitude by combining lightweight Pertex Quantum Diamond Fuse alongside Allied Feather ExpeDry 800FP Goose down, meaning it dries faster, sheds more water and is more abrasion-resistant than other options. The proprietary NAT baffle construction and innovative hood system, along with a pattern cut to increase mobility, make this a lightweight, ultra-protective option for alpine adventures.

Ressence Ahead of Time Book

Avant-garde watchmaker Ressence doesn’t do anything by the book, and that’s also the case when it comes to the brand’s 15th anniversary, uh, book. Rather than look back at the past decade and a half of Ressence watches, the tome instead looks to the future. Ane we’re not even talking about the future of watchmaking, but rather the world at large. 20 brilliant minds from the likes of Apple, Google, AI and even Michelin-Starred restaurants make their informed predictions on what’s next for humanity in this fascinating read.
