Filson and Blundstone Just Delivered the Fall’s Definitive Do-Anything Boot

A heritage-heavy collaboration introduces brand-new features to one of the most iconic boots in history.

You may not be able to teach an old dog new tricks. But even a 155-year-old boot brand has something to learn, especially it teams up with another manufacturer that’s nearly as old.

Following up on a collaboration with L.L. Bean in 2023, Blundstone has this time teamed up with Filson to reimagine its iconic Chelsea boot, going beyond your typical collaboration that merely rethinks a color or pattern.

Comprised of three styles that differ by the type of leather, #2534, #2535 and #2536, the boots debut a new extra-durable sole compound called Avalon Gecko TPU from Blundstone, as well as cobranded footbed technology for added comfort, claim the brands.

Moreover, Filson’s famous “Blaze Orange” colorway can be found throughout the interior of the boot, including on the elastic sides.

That said, what truly sets the new style apart from Blundstone’ iconic slip-on requires a deft eye for detail.

The pull tabs, fashioned from fabric since the 1960s, feature here in leather for the first time in Blundstone history, promising both longevity and patina.

Availability and pricing

Available soon from Filson, Blundstone and select retailers around the globe, the three boots in the collection go on sale starting October 23. Each pair costs $240 and comes in unisex sizing.
