Although the proliferation of independent microbrands over the past several years has made the landscape far more competitive, Seiko remains the brand to beat when it comes to affordable watches.

The Japanese brand, arguably the most vertically integrated watchmaker in the world, offers hundreds of watches across all price points, but Seiko’s bread and butter has always been entry-level watches.

From automatic divers, GMTs and dress watches to quartz-powered chronographs and modern-day reinterpretations of some of the brand’s most vaunted icons, the budget-conscious models in Seiko’s 5 Sports, Presage and Prospex lines truly offer something for everyone.

Seiko’s watches are almost always a good buy, but right now, that’s even more true. That’s because Macy’s is running a Black Friday sale offering discounts off dozens of popular Seiko models.

We’re talking the “5KX” GMT, the Prospex Solar Speedtimer, the Cocktail Time, and so many more. I’ve rounded up several of my favorites below, but it’s also worth heading over to Macy’s sale page to take a look at the entire selection for yourself, as many of the below options are also available in other colors and references.
