Rimowa has unveiled a new iteration of its Cabin Luggage Harness concept, which is likely to catch the eye of frequent travelers who favor hard-shell carry-ons.
The latest version, dubbed the Cabin Luggage Harness Backpack, builds on the original design with a key upgrade: hidden shoulder straps that transform the accessory into a standalone backpack.
Three bags in one

The Cabin Luggage Harness Backpack’s core concept remains unchanged from the original: it’s a small, secondary bag that doubles as an organizational system, strapping onto Rimowa’s famed cabin carry-on suitcase so that it’s easy to carry and still keep gear accessible.
Where the new version distinguishes itself is in its versatility. Rimowa has added hidden shoulder straps and cleverly designed side panels that now allow the harness to function as a thin laptop-sized backpack when detached from your suitcase.
The system also functions as a briefcase when the two sections are zipped together, providing genuine flexibility in navigating airports and city streets.

The backpack carries a dedicated laptop compartment and multiple organizational pockets, making it a practical standalone option for day trips or when you need to step away from your rolling luggage. T
