Montana Knife Company’s new releases rarely last long, but its next knife drop is set to outpace even its own record-breaking sellouts.

The Damascus Blackfoot isn’t just stunning visually; the fixed blade also comes with a stunning price tag.

But, you may be able to see past its lofty MSRP, given that there are only 500 of these available … and when they’re gone, they’re gone forever.

Stay sharp

The Damascus Blackfoot is the first-ever production offering from Montana Knife Company to feature the wavy pattern welded steel; this knife uses a blend of 1080 and 15N20 high-carbon steel to form a woodgrain Damascus pattern.

MKC based this knife off of its flagship design, the Blackfoot, which is a 7.5-inch fixed blade hunting knife created to blend lightweight design and durability.

The limited-edition version uses Damascus steel forged by Montana bladesmith Will Stelter and a premium-grade desert ironwood burl handle, marking the beginning of MKC’s collector-grade edition of knives.

The Damascus Blackfoot maintains the same overall length, 3.375 inch blade length, drop-point shape, 0.11-inch thickness and made in the USA manufacturing, but makes some impressive swaps — ones that are reflected in the price tag.

In addition to its premium material upgrades, the limited-edition knife comes with a custom ostrich leather sheath, built from Teton Leather.

Constructed to reflect premium manufacturing methods and to support the custom knife community, the Damascus Blackfoot is seemingly the first of many collector-level knives to come from MKC.

Availability and pricing

Limited to just 500 units, the Damascus Blackfoot becomes availble tonight (Friday, December 12) at 7 pm MST and retails for $1,000.
