When Yeti introduced its Rambler French Press in 2024, it marked the brand’s first entry into the coffee brewing equipment market. Since that time, we’ve only seen it go on sale once before – and that was only for limited light green and bright blue colors that were far from universal.

Now, the 34-ounce model is available at a rare 20 percent discount, bringing the price down from $110 to $88. And this time, the deal specifically applies to the Big Sky Blue colorway.

Not only is the pale, powder blue more neutral while still being easy on the eyes, but it’s also held in special regard by Yeti diehards because of how closely it echoes an iconic color from the past.

The lining is key

While most travel-ready French presses rely entirely on stainless steel construction, Yeti’s DuraSip ceramic interior prevents metallic taste from affecting your coffee’s flavor profile.

Working in tandem with Yeti’s signature double-wall vacuum insulation, this French Press is extremely well-suited to maintain temperature for hours without imparting any unwanted flavors.

Speaking of flavor, Yeti’s proprietary GroundsControl Filter system is another key upgrade.

While a few third party hacks have allowed Yeti’s Rambler line work like a French press, Yeti’s official French press models are bound to perform better.

After plunging, this filter actively stops the brewing process by separating the grounds from your brewed coffee.

This prevents the over-extraction that typically occurs when coffee sits in contact with grounds for extended periods.

The Twist-to-Lock lid design, borrowed from other Rambler products, also seals in heat and prevents spills during transport. Everything except the press assembly is dishwasher safe, making cleanup straightforward even at remote locations.

Combined with the 34-ounce capacity, which yields approximately two to four cups of coffee, it’s sized perfectly for solo morning routines or sharing at the campsite.

At 2.7 pounds empty and measuring 6.2 inches wide by 8.2 inches tall, it’s substantial but manageable for car camping, tailgating, or packing into a larger outdoor setup.

A cult-favorite color

Big Sky Blue was one of the last additions to Yeti’s seasonal color lineup in 2025. The powder blue shade immediately captured the attention of die-hard Yeti fans, sparking speculation that Yeti chose the color as a callback to the long-discontinued Ice Blue colorway, first released in 2013 as Yeti’s initial departure from traditional white and tan options.

How to get it for less

The current sale price of $88 is available directly from Yeti as well as official retailers like REI, representing a rare and solid savings on what’s typically a premium-priced product.

Given Yeti’s track record with limited-edition colors, once this seasonal shade is gone, it won’t be easy to find again.
