Salomon’s catalog is full of Gorpcore classics turned streetwear darlings, but the ACS Pro stands out even among its technical, design-forward peers.

Its latest evolution adds style and substance while streamlining the silhouette.

The reimagined, summer-ready ACS Pro Shell draws design inspiration from seashells, resulting in a lightweight, minimal sneaker that makes a bigger statement with less material.

Light and breezy

The Salomon ACS Pro Shell debuted today, but the sneaker’s heritage can be traced all the way back to 2005, when the original GCS Pro hit the scene.

With origins as a technical performance sneaker, the shoe was revived in 2022 as the ACS Pro Advanced, a lifestyle sneaker that maintained its technical roots while adding in modern design cues.

Now, the Gorpcore classic is back as the ACS Pro Shell.

The name nods to the shoe’s ocean-influenced design, which takes cues from the protective and light structure of an ocean shell, resulting in a minimalist, breezy shoe with even more style than its predecessors.

The ACS Pro Shell features an open construction, which combines windows of space and breathable 3D mesh with a light synthetic cage design for a secure fit that prioritizes airflow and durability.
