Boylan Heritage Cocktail Mixers

Boylan Bottling applied their high standard to cocktail mixers. You should do the same.

The cocktail mixer is an afterthought to many. Amateurs and even professional mixologists often focus on procuring top-notch spirits, botanicals and citrus, then settle for corner store fare when it comes to this final touch. Whether you’re an aspiring mixologist or merely a lover of good drinks, one thing is certain: your G&T’s deserve better than Canada Dry.

Boylan has been producing above-average soda for over a century. Consider, for instance, that their use of pure cane sugar prevailed through the flood of high-fructose corn syrup and predated the small craft soda boom of today. Now they’ve applied that standard to common cocktail mixers in collaboration with W&P Design for a line of bottles that won’t make your bar cart look like you half-assed things. The offerings: club soda made with hand-harvested New England sea salt; ginger ale accented with a touch of key lime and cane sugar; and of course, tonic. All bottles are brewed and bottled in the USA, and each is good for two cocktails. Sure, it’ll cost a bit more than Canada Dry, but if you’re going to make a point of getting top-notch ingredients, wouldn’t it be wise to spend a little extra so that all of those ingredients can shine?
