KEF’s Excellent Entry-Level Bookshelf Speakers Just Got Even Cheaper

The brand’s newest affordable bookshelf speakers are at an all-time-low price.

Right now, KEF is having a big sale for what it’s calling “March Audio Month.”

Basically, it’s a great time to get a superb deal on some of the brand’s newest bookshelf and floorstanding speakers (as well as a few other models).

KEF’s entry-level bookshelf speakers

Of all the deals, the one of the KEF Q1 Meta is probably the standout. These are the brand’s entry-level bookshelf speakers that were just released in 2024.

These two-way bookshelf speakers are equipped with KEF’s latest-generation Uni-Q driver, featuring its proprietary Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT).

This is the same driver-and-tech combo used in its higher-end R Series Meta range and popular LS50 Meta hi-fi speakers.

Normally $700, a pair of the KEF Q1 Meta is currently selling for $400. That’s a 43 percent discount.

The KEF Q1 Meta come in three different finishes: satin black, satin white and walnut.

The other headline deal of the sale is on the KEF R5 Meta. These are compact three-way floorstanding speakers in the brand’s R Series, which sits between its entry-level Q Series and flagship Reference Series.

These loudspeakers were released in 2023 and, like the Q1 Meta, feature the same 12th-generation Uni-Q driver and the brand’s Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT), which helps deliver more accurate, distortion-free sound.

Normally $2,500, KEF is currently discounting these loudspeakers by $1,000. That’s 40 percent off.

The R5 Meta comes in three finishes: black gloss, white gloss and walnut.

How long will these deals run?

These deals are aimed at both music lovers or home theater enthusiasts — in addition to the bookshelf and floorstanding speakers, KEF is also running deals on its Q4 Meta on-wall speakers and Kube 15 MIE subwoofer.

If you’re not quite sure you’re ready to pounce on one of these deals just yet, fear not … the offers will run now through March 31st, so you’ve got some time to think about it.
