Throughout this holiday season, Klipsch has been having quite the sale on many of its best bookshelf speakers. And some of them, including its entry-level R-50Ms, are still steeply discounted.

One of those still on sale is Klipsch’s its vintage-inspired powered speaker systems, The Sevens.

Released in mid-2023, The Sevens is a super versatile powered speaker system that borrows design cues from Klipsch’s famed Heritage line of loudspeakers.

Each speaker has a wooden cabinet and fabric grilles, helping it exude a real vintage look and feel. The only truly “new age” element that you can see is the metal controls on top of the primary speaker.

Old-school looks, modern sound

Each speaker has a two-way design, pairing a 1-inch titanium tweeter with a 6.5-inch high-excursion woofer. And each has a built-in amplifier that, according to the brand, “is custom-engineered to maximize output and sound quality.”

In total, it’s a 200-watt system (100 watts per speaker).

The Sevens are designed to look old, but they work like a modern system— they’re very much a modern, versatile system.

They can be connected to your computer (via 3.5mm or USB), TV (via HDMI ARC), or turntable (thanks to its built-in phono stage). They also have built-in Bluetooth for streaming.

What’s the deal?

Klipsch’s The Sevens normally cost $1,200/pair, but right now you can save $200 when shopping on Amazon or Walmart.

The speakers are available in Walnut and Black veneer finishes, the former of which really exudes those vintage vibes.
