Earlier this month, Sonus faber teamed up with Lamborghini, the legendary Italian car manufacturer, to create a limited-edition version of its Il Cremonese Ex3me floorstanding loudspeakers. Only 50 pairs were made, each priced at $130,000.
Fast forward two weeks and the luxury Italian audio maker is back with a new pair of audiophile-grade floorstanding speakers that are, well, slightly more affordable.

Trickle-down drivers
Sonus faber’s Amati Supreme is its newest pair of high-end floorstanding speakers. According to the brand, they blend “advanced engineering with Italian craftsmanship to achieve exceptional performance in a beautifully compact floor-standing silhouette.”
Most notably, Sonus faber integrated the Amati Supreme with the same advanced “Voice of Sonus faber” (VOS) driver array — comprised of a tweeter, super tweeter and Camelia midrange driver — that’s featured in its flagship Suprema loudspeakers, which go for around $750,000.
