Sonus faber is an Italian audio company that has been handcrafting loudspeakers since 1983. Today, it’s known for its extremely high-end loudspeakers designed for audiophiles with deep, deep pockets — for example, its flagship Suprema goes for around $750,000.

Lamborghini is a legendary Italian car manufacturer that has been around since the mid-1960s and is well known for its extremely lavish sports cars. Its current flagship, the Revuelto, costs upwards of $600,000.

You would’ve thought that these two luxury Italian brands would have collaborated extensively over the years … but it actually didn’t happen until last year. Specifically, the Lamborghini Revuelto came outfitted with a custom-designed sound system by Sonus faber.

Fast forward a year, and that relationship has seemingly been taken to the next level. This time, Lamborghini is bringing its signature style to a pair of Sonus faber loudspeakers.

Sonus faber’s Il Cremonese Ex3me are high-end floorstanding loudspeakers that were released in late 2020. In fact, they are technically an upgraded version of the brand’s 2025-released Il Cremonese, which currently sells for $67,500/pair.

Now, to further cement its partnership with the Italian sports car maker, Sonus Faber is releasing a super special-edition version of its Il Cremonese Ex3me called the “Automobili Lamborghini Edition.”

Tall, modern speaker with a black and yellow design. It features multiple drivers, including two larger woofers at the bottom, a midrange driver in the middle with the Lamborghini logo, and a smaller tweeter above it. The speaker has a sleek, angular shape with a matte finish.

A sports car paint job

Naturally, these Automobili Lamborghini Edition loudspeakers borrow elements from the Italian sports car — most notably, its paint job.

The brands will offer the special loudspeakers in five classic Lamborghini finishes: Giallo Countach (yellow, shown), Arancio Egon (orange), Blu Marinus Matte (deep blue), Verde Mercurius (green), and Nero Nemesis Matte (black).

But it’s not just the color. The loudspeakers borrow design elements from Lamborghini’s cars, too, including an angular five-sided cabinet, sculpted contours, Corsa-Tex panels, and the iconic Automobili Lamborghini shield logo.

The press release reads: “For the first time, the emotion of the Italian super sports car and the soul of Italian sound converge to deliver an unparalleled listening experience in the home.”

Only 50 of these special-edition loudspeakers will be made.

Limited to 50

Each pair of Sonus faber’s Automobili Lamborghini Edition loudspeakers is hand-built in the company’s workshop located in Vicenza, Italy. And the pair is listened to and fine-tuned by Sonus faber technicians before being shipped.

According to the brand, the result is “an audio experience that rivals a live performance — a signature characteristic of Sonus faber, where each level and detail of instrument and vocal is distinguished to the listener.”

Only 50 individually numbered pairs will be sold.
