New rumors suggest that Apple may unveil its new iPhone 14 a week ahead of schedule. The company is holding an event on September 6 – a week ahead of the predicted unveiling – where fans are now conspiring that the new model will be revealed. That said, Apple is yet to confirm any true reveal or release date, with fans debating multiple release dates (including September 16 and 23). Of course, there are also plenty of rumors circling around what features the phone will even include. In fact, thanks to the company’s push towards wireless Magsafe charging, it’s also unclear whether the Apple 14 will even have a charging port. As a result, fans are circling this release with heightened curiosity, but only time will tell what features, not to mention release and reveal dates, the company will confirm.

Seiko Introduces a New Save the Ocean Special Edition Inspired by the Arctic and Antarctic

Today, Seiko has reinterpreted its first iconic dive watch to create a new Save the Ocean Special Edition. The case design is faithful to the original model but features a patterned deep blue dial evoking the texture of glacial ice. The new model has also been updated with 200 meters of water resistance and follows ISO standards to ensure each timepiece is suitable for scuba diving, featuring both a unidirectional elapsed timing bezel as well as LumiBrite hands and markers for superior visibility in low light environments. Equipped with the tried and trusted mechanical Caliber 6R35 with a 70-hour power reserve, the timepiece offers both automatic and manual winding capabilities and beats at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour. This unique Special Edition is crafted of stainless steel with a super-hard coating and employs a curved sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating on the inner surface; as well as a screw-down crown and case back. Notably, the $1,250 Prospex Save the Ocean Series supports Seiko’s chosen marine conservation agencies and carries on the Seiko Prospex mission: to help protect the world’s oceans now and for future generations and to secure this legacy for divers everywhere.


Cannondale’s Newest Bike Frame Weighs Less Than Two Pounds

The new Cannondale SuperSix EVO Leichtbau weighs in at just 750 grams (~1.7 pounds) thanks to some new tech and seriously advanced materials. The brand emphasizes that the frame features its, “most advanced carbon construction and CNC machined alloy details.” The piece also features hidden cable routing, highly truncated airfoil tube shapes (that can reduce drag by up to 30%), SAVE rear stays, an integrated binder and 27 SL KNØT. Fans can bring home the frame today for $5500, but only 200 pieces will be available worldwide.


High West Releases New Campfire Spirit and Donates $50,000 to Wildland Firefighter Foundation

High West became Utah’s first legal distillery in 1870. Now, the brand has unveiled its seasonal release, Campfire, which it describes as an “uncommon blend of scotch, bourbon and rye whiskeys ranging in age from 4-15 years and bottled at 46% ABV.” In tandem with this release, the brand also announced its Protect the West initiative – a commitment of $1 million over three years to organizations in the West that focus on fighting wildfires, protecting winters and aiding wildland preservation. To top it off, High West is donating $50,000 to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation and matching consumer donations up to an additional $50,000. Its ‘Campfire’ release currently retails for $80 and boasts a complex flavor profile with notes of Asian pear, burnt almond toffee, balsam fir needles and woodsmoke.


Opinel Releases Limited Edition Riff on Original No. 08 Folding Knife

Opinel’s knives are immediately recognizable. Now, it’s releasing a new limited edition take on its traditional No.08 Stainless Steel folding knife entitled the No. 08 Serpent. The Serpent follows the traditional wooden, folding knife build though its handle features a unique wood grain – with light and dark tones – crafted with wood sourced from Guyana. Its double-polished blade measures 3.28 inches and is made with 12C27M stainless steel. Weighing in at just 1.8 ounces, the lightweight knife currently retails for $55 – but fans should act fast because only 500 units will be available.


Beats x Kim to Release Skin-Toned Beats Fit Pro

This new collection marks the very first custom collaboration for Beats Fit Pro and will feature the brand’s latest true wireless earbuds in new nude colorways. Designed in collaboration with Kim Kardashian, the new earbuds will feature the same fit, active noise cancellation and spatial audio tech the original model has become known for. The earbuds will be available in three neutral colors: Moon (light), Dune (medium) and Earth (deep), and come equipped with the Apple H1 chip. Fans can shop the new Beats x Kim collection beginning Tuesday, August 16 at 7 a.m. PT for $200 a pair.
