Salomon’s New Super Shoe Cheats Wind to Shave Seconds off Your Next Race

The vaunted French outdoor brand’s pinnacle road shoe hits a whole new height with this third edition, which gets a brand-new wind tunnel-tested upper and midsole design. That means the 7-ounce shoe is not only 10 percent lighter than its predecessor, but also it’s aerodynamically optimized to reduce overall drag by 2.5 to 3 percent, translating to 18 seconds shaved off a marathon run at a 4:50 pace. True to its super shoe nature, the Phantasm 3 also features bouncy PEBA-based foam and an energy-returning full-length carbon plate.

Ross and Coors Light have come together once again on a collaborative fly reel, only this time it touts a handy party trick. As is the case on the iconic beer can, this special Cimarron LT sports a color-changing mountain that reacts to temperature. As such, thanks to Ross’s industry-first ThermoChromic tech, it acts as an indicator that turns blue below 70°F (meaning it’s safe for trout) and fades to clear as temperatures increase. Moreover, Ross is donating a portion of the proceeds to Trout Unlimited to support river conservation and the protection of cold, clean water.

Liquid Death is known for two things: delicious sparkling waters and crass advertisements. Now, the heavy metal-forward beverage brand is branching into an entirely new category, courtesy of one of the largest makeup brands in the world, e.l.f. (Okay, not entirely new — they teamed up once before, but it sold out almost immediately.) This collaboration sees the former brand’s flavored sparkling waters pared into a collection of squeezable, vegan lip balms that are as tasty as they are moisturizing. Just, maybe don’t eat them straight from the tube.

In September 2025, Ricoh introduced GR IV, marking the first time in six years it added a new model to its popular GR line of compact cameras. Now, just a few months later, it has revealed a monochrome version of that GR IV — it’s notable because it’s the first Ricoh GR camera dedicated to black-and-white photography. Most everything about the camera is the same, including its 28mm-equivalent lens and 25.7-megapixel sensor, but it has some monochrome-specific controls. Also, it’s $700 more expensive than the GR IV.

The 85-percent nylon and 15-percent spandex fabric has a small-gauge ripstop weave for enhanced durability. The elastic waistband is wrapped with a soft liner and features a drawstring. Best of all, it has plenty of well-thought-out pocket space, with an inset zip pouch in the left-hand pocket and an elastic headphone case pouch in the right-hand pocket. The back pocket has a zipper with a cover flap to prevent it from snagging or getting uncomfortable when sitting.

Armin Strom improves upon its classic Tribute 1 with the Tribute² Aurum, which maintains the original design’s asymmetrical dial layout featuring an off-center clock face inset with an exposed mainspring barrel and bridge, but adds additional skeletonization with more exposed gears and a visible mainspring. The stainless steel case keeps its compact proportions at just 38mm across and 9.38mm thick, but the exposed mainplate — which functionally acts as the dial — is now gold-plated with a handsome, hand-worked tremblage finish. The watch is limited to just 10 pieces and is priced at CHF 27,000 (~$33,700).

Fujifilm just revealed a newly updated printer for smartphone photos and it’s called the instax mini Link+. As a follow-up to its previous versions of instax, the mini Link+ benefits from a smaller and sleeker design with a reworked app alongside. It’s the latest solution for printing photos on-the-go, harkening back to the days of the good ‘ol classic Polaroid instant-print film cameras. But because it’s 2026, the instax mini Link+ has additional after-effects available through the smartphone app, allowing users to add graphics, text and other overlays to enrich their captures.
