Aznom AutomotiveAznom L’Epoque Concept
Italian coachbuilder Aznom’s latest concept takes the form of L’Epoque. The car was envisioned as an ultra-luxurious 26-foot “monument on wheels,” and its lengthy proportions take inspiration from the parade cars and chauffeur-driven coupés of the 1920s and 1930s. Accordingly, even though designers imagined the car with forward-looking features like a quad-motor V6-driven EREV powertrain and AI-enabled tech, it’s packed with Art Deco style inside and out. Wood, leather and materials “inspired by the interiors of historic builds” fill the cabin, while the long hood and boat tail celebrate the nautical themes of bygone grand tourers. To that end, Aznom’s L’Epoque concept bucks current automotive ergos by ditching its seats in favor of a 2+2+2 setup with a rearward “private lounge.”
Tokyo NodeGhost in the Shell x G-Shock DW-5600
Ghost in the Shell is one of the most influential, highly rated anime of all time. From its striking visuals to its bleak, futuristic cyberpunk setting, it has had a huge influence on popular culture across genres and industries. Now, to honor its 37th anniversary, G-Shock has imbued its iconic original watch, the DW-5600, with the anime’s iconography — including the franchise’s logo on the bottom of the face (below the digital display) and a silhouette of the main character, Motoko Kusanagi, hidden in the backlight.
Louis PoulsenLouis Poulsen Panthella Lamp ‘The Originals’
Louis Poulsen celebrates what would have been the 100th birthday of legendary mid-century designer Verner Panton by reissuing his iconic Panthella Lamp in the five original colors it debuted with back in 1971. The five returning colors are Original Opal Orange, Original Opal Red, Original Opal Brown, Original Opal Green and Original Opal Blue Grey, all of which are paired with a chrome base, just like they were 55 years ago. Louis Paulsen has launched the lamp in two portable sizes: 6.3 inches and 9.8 inches, which are priced at $380 and $715, respectively.
ParachuteParachute Organic Resort Stripe Towels
Parachute gave its best-selling towels a vacation-coded glow up, thanks to the newly-released “Butter with Honey” colorway. The warm hues feel both vintage and modern, thanks to minimal stripes. The yarn-dyed towels still maintain their 100-percent organic cotton construction, as well as their tactile ribbed texture and quick-drying properties. An accompanying new colorway, “Bone with White”, is also available. The new release is available in a range of towel sizes, as well as a plush bath mat.
SonySony LinkBuds Clip
Since 2022, Sony has been one of the industry leaders for wireless earbuds with an open-ear design; this is optimized for running, biking and workouts, as it allows you to hear the world around while still listening to music. But with the LinkBuds Clips, it’s the brand’s first open-ear wireless earbuds that clip to the outside of your ears — a design made popular by the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds. The earbuds are IPX4-rated and offer an impressive “up to 37-hour” battery life. And they come in four different color options: black, greige, green and lavender.
