Land Rover Honors the Fastest Range Rover Ever with Its Most Powerful Version Yet

Land Rover just revealed a new special Range Rover Sport called the Ultimate Edition. It’s based off the high-performance SV and tips its hat to the previous generation’s bespoke and limited-production Range Rover Sport SVR. As one expects, road-going performance is its major highlight as engineers squeezed 626 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque out of its BMW-sourced 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8. But with its launch mode engaged, torque peaks at 590 lb-ft, resulting in a 0-60 time in just 3.7 seconds. It also features Land Rover’s latest advanced 6D suspension, lifted from the Defender OCTA, and a bespoke Velocity Blue Gloss, which is a first for the nameplate. But sadly, you’ll have to live in the UK to snag one of these limited models.
