NAIAS (aka the 2011 Detroit Auto Show) is churning out some seriously impressive vehicles this year, and the 2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe is no exception. After two generations of less-than-impressive C-Class sedan designs, overshadowed by the offerings by BMW, the current generation C-Class sedan serves as the design launching pad for the rakishly good looking coupe, which sports clean lines and a cohesive and sophisticated but aggressive design. Designed to compete with the BMW 1-Series, with a 2-door, rear wheel drive platform, the C-Class Coupe oozes with style. Engine choices are from direct-injected DOHC V6s, including a 3.5-liter naturally aspirated version and a smaller unit with twin turbos, spewing out 300 horses. Yeeowch. The AMG version will follow soon after, providing even more g-forces for your intestines to deal with.
