This kit is part of the brand’s Speed Champion collection and, especially compared to other very cool kits, it’s a massive bargain.

Look, we can’t all own actual classic Mustangs from the pony car’s heyday. I’m sorry to be so brutally honest, but if you didn’t hear it from me, you’d probably get all the way to the bank and some lame loan officer would tell you the same thing as he turns his computer monitor toward you to demonstrate why it’d be a poor financial decision. He’d probably eat lunch the whole time too. Some people just don’t understand the allure of a fastback.

However. The folks at Lego know what’s up. They know you want to run nines in the quarter; they know you want forest green bodywork; they know you secretly think about Steve McQueen far more than you should. And they absolutely will not open-mouth chew a burrito in front of you, ever. (Note: unverified.) This kit is part of the brand’s Speed Champion collection and, especially compared to other very cool kits, it’s a massive bargain. It belongs on your desk at work (since you probably won’t put a real one in your garage at home).
