Just when you thought the GR Corolla couldn’t possibly get any more epic, the Big T one-upped itself once again. Earlier this year, Toyota revealed what’s possibly the spiciest and likely the most expensive Corolla ever made: the GRMN Corolla.
It’s the latest edition of the automaker’s hot compact hatch, culminating all of what Gazoo Racing learned from pushing it to its performance limits, bundled up into single package. While we’re already familiar with the nitty-gritty of the performance, we’ve finally received more details about its arrival in the US.
Specifically, its pricing and availability. Yes, some of the 730 units in total are coming to America. However, you’ll have to set aside a whopping $64,360 to get one.
The most track-ready Corolla ever

While you might still be in a bit of sticker shock, there’s actually quite a bit going for this GRMN Corolla.
For nearly the cost of a whole extra base Corolla, you’d probably guess the GRMN Corolla is quite special. It is, especially because Toyota Chairman, Akio “Morizo” Toyoda, said that “if it bears the GRMN name, it must be able to run the Nürburgring properly.”
