This Elevated, Overlanding-Ready Adventure Van Just Begs to Hit the Road

The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter is a prolific platform among vanlifers, and that’s for good reason. Between its generous payload and its robust four-wheel drive system, it’s equally adept as a luxurious motorhome and as a rugged adventure rig.

Unsurprisingly, then, there are plenty of options available. From boutique upstarts to established RV giants, you’ll find no shortage of brands offering Sprinter-based conversions.

Still, this one from Vertical Vans makes for a particularly tempting option ahead of a weekend.  Between its refined finishes and its featured-packed furnishings, it brings a lot to the table. Best of all, though, it’s ready to hit the road.

It’s called the Cirque, and it’s based on a 2026 Sprinter 144 AWD. Although it squeezes a lot into its mobile floor plan, Vertical Vans hasn’t cut any corners in the process.

As a result, it’s highly efficient with its space while still looking uncluttered in its living provisions. The Cirque manages to squeeze in everything from a full galley, a two-burner induction cooktop and a 90-quart refrigerator to a full-width bed, a folding bench and a slide-out composting toilet. 

Nonetheless, thanks to its modern white oak cabinetry, stainless steel fixtures and bright fabrics, the interior still feels airy and bright. Some dimmable LED lighting only adds to the ambience.

To that end, it’s well-equipped for power-hungry travelers. Vertical Vans equips its rigs with a 7680Wh Victron NG Lithium battery system that’s complemented by a 3000W inverter and some 450W solar panels.

It also isn’t lacking when it comes to the essentials. Along with an expandable (up to 48 gallons) fresh water tank, the Cirque sports a built-in filtration system, diesel heating and air conditioning, among other creature comforts.

Enough room for all the right gear

Now, as Vertical Vans has designed the Cirque to be an outdoor enthusiast’s delight, it’s more than a nice place to be. It’s a fully adventure-ready Sprinter.

Accordingly, it integrates a rear garage beneath the bed platform that’s designed to keep wet and dirty gear away from the living area. In addition to an open cargo bay for bikes and other bulkier items, it features some spacious slide-out drawers.

Moreover, around the exterior, Vertical Vans has outfitted the Cirque with helpful storage accommodations like a modular roof rack, an Owl Vans bike rack and an Owl Vans cargo box.

Together with other upgrades like some auxiliary lighting, an Owl Vans spare tire carrier, some Owl Vans side steps and a fold-out awning, it’s made only better by its Black Rhino wheels and chunky BFGoodrich all-terrain rubber.

Availability and pricing

If you’re sold on the idea of life on the road in the Cirque, you’re in luck. Vertical Vans currently has it up for sale as pictured. It’s priced at $179,500.

While that makes it a fair shake more than some of the competition, you have to appreciate the ready-to-go nature of the build. Anyone else thinking a fly-and-drive?
