The confusingly named Breville Fast Slow Pro can do what Instant Pots do, just better. Beyond the all-in-one cooking appliance feature you expect — sear, pressure cook, slow cook, sautee, steam, reduce and so on — the Breville device beats out its competitors by virtue of a dual-sensor temperature gauging system. The sensors are placed at the top and bottom of the machine and source temperature data from both to more accurately record cooking temperatures, and is able to alter its cooking course based on that. An easy-reading LCD display and the backing of a home cooking staple like Breville doesn’t hurt either.
