We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again: tires are one of the most important parts of your car that you probably don’t think about enough. After all, those four pieces of rubber and other materials are the only where your car actually connects to the road — or, in the case of an off-roader, whatever else happens to be beneath your SUV or pickup truck at any given moment.

Don’t need off-road rubber? Check out our guide to the best winter and snow tires on sale today here.

Right now, you can snag Goodyear’s Wrangler All-Terrain Adventure tires for as much as $150 off the usual price for a set of four. While the Wranglers vary in price based on size, as tires do, they start at $171 on the Goodyear website — which means you’re nearly getting one tire for free. Kevlar-based construction makes them practically bulletproof (note: not literally); opt for the LT versions, and you’ll wind up with a winter-ready Three Peak Mountain certification and extra steel and Kevlar for even greater strength.

There is a catch to getting the maximum rebate, though: you’ll need to sign up for Goodyear’s credit card and use it to buy the tires. If you’d rather not go through that hassle, though, you’ll still save $75 on these Wranglers when you buy them any other way; Goodyear will still send you a prepaid MasterCard either through the mail or via the internet.
