French jeans brand A.P.C. and famed American-founded workwear company Carhartt have teamed up several times before, but now their efforts have turned to that most utilitarian of items: the humble field watch. The A.P.C. X Carhartt WIP Watch, as it’s called, is housed in a 40mm metal case with glowing “Night Shift” technology, and ships with two NATO straps. The dial, in a fun reversal of the typical military field watch layout, has a 24-hour scale as its main set of indices, and a 12-hour inner scale, all set against an off-white dial.
