The Reebok Floatride Run Fast sneaker is the brand’s best-selling running shoe. Its sleek look, energy-returning foam and supportive cage have lauded it international awards and made it the favorite of many Ragnar Relay racers, sprinters and distance runners. Reebok paired its proprietary Floatride foam with a lightweight upper to build the fastest race day sneaker we’ve tested, the Floatride Run Fast Pro. And, now, Reebok is combining the Floatride Energy Foam with a mesh upper and carbon outsole at just $100. The Forever Floatride Energy is Reebok’s latest running shoe drop that’s also affordable.
It can be hard to find a fast sneaker that’s also good looking enough to add to your kit for $100 or less. Reebok does just that with the Forever Floatride Energy. This everyday running shoe brings all of the same performance benefits to a Reebok running shoe with a thicker and more supportive upper. There’s not as much stretch, but still plenty of room for toe splay. The Forever Floatride Energy also doesn’t feature an external heel cup or cage. The outsoles of the two shoes look similar, and while we can’t compare grippiness, we bet that the rippled outsole will hold its own (and you) from slips.
