The Adizero Evo SL has been around for less than two years, but the standout everyday trainer has already earned cult-favorite status.

Since its debut, the fan-favorite runner has spawned multiple colorways and stylistic variants that build on what made the original so compelling.

The latest version retains the shoe’s performance DNA, but swaps in a 2000s-inspired upper that further streamlines its already sleek silhouette.

Zip around

Set to release on July 6, the Adizero Evo SL Zip is a fresh take on the beloved running shoe that takes its inspiration from 2000s era track & field spikes.

The most noticeable change on the new model is the zippered shroud that covers the upper. The novel tongue-length zip offers a secure, svelte fit without adding weight.

The zip construction, combined with laces and a gusset tongue, offers enhanced lockdown while keeping the overall silhouette minimal.

Like its fellow Adizero Evo SL counterparts, the new Zip version is powered by Lightstrike foam technology underfoot.

Updates notwithstanding, the Adizero EVO SL Zip retains the weight (8.11 ounces), stack height (38mm / 32mm), drop (6mm) and approachable price tag of the original Adizero EVO SL, making it a compelling choice for anyone looking to refresh their daily trainer.
