Athens-based spice purveyor Daphnis and Chloe celebrates quality over quantity (and complexity), working with local farmers to make premium, hand-picked spices and herbs available to the masses. The brand’s stock ranges from peppermint to fennel seeds, from thyme flowers to smoked chili flakes. And it stocks three distinct types of oregano. They’re the types of herbs that are best enjoyed simply: placed atop rich feta with a drizzle of olive oil, cobbled together in minutes and consumed posthaste. And thanks to lo-fi, typographically distinct packaging by graphic designer and Apartamento magazine founder Omar Sosa, they make a worthy gift, too.
