Chronotronix V400 Nixie Tube Clock

It's Like Some Kind of Hot Tube Time Machine

Dropping $415 on a clock may not be the most prudent use of your hard-earned cash, but then again the Chronotronix V400 Nixie Tube Clock isn’t on the same playing field as the bed side device you bash each and every morning.

Featuring six Nixie tubes embedded within a cherry wood base that’s topped off with a black anodized aluminum surface, designed to reflect the clocks glowing digits, this clock is unique to say the least. Despite it’s drool-worthy vintage looks, the clock uses-state-of-the-art circuitry and keeps time through an ultra precise real-time clock that’s accurate to within 0.0003 seconds per minute. If the device loses time, the clock is also battery buffered for up to 10 years of use. Besides displaying the time, the clock can also display the date, and function as an actual alarm clock. Though, we don’t recommend palming this one in a dazy state of sleep stupor. Get the full spec lowdown after the break, and be advised that if you like what you see, strike now cuz’ quantities are limited.
