Announced at CES, the new Weber Connect is a palm-size grill instructor that tells you what to do through an app on your phone. The device has four temperature probes to track cooking progress on multiple pieces of meat or a larger protein that cooks unevenly (like smoking a chicken). According to the brand, Weber Connect will assist users on everything “from grill setup, to when it’s time to flip food, change the temperature, and when it’s the perfect doneness to serve.” The Connect starts at $120 and is a solid pre-grill-season pickup for you or someone you know who’s just getting into grilling, especially so for those who don’t own grills with built-in temperature probes.
