From dirt and adventure bikes to sport and touring motos, it’s a veritable smorgasbord of petrol-powered delight.
Where form meets function, you will find the new GSX-S1000 — and hopefully ride the hell out of it!Suzuki Cycles
I’ve already discussed one of the halo products, the Special Edition Hayabusa, which we now know has a starting price of $20,129.
As gorgeous as it is, let’s now talk about one helluva naked bike that checks in at just over half that figure.
Because the 2026 GSX-S1000 is positively spoiling for a street fight, and I sure wouldn’t bet against it.
Future-ready features
One of the most notable updates of the new edition is among its most forward-thinking: a new instrument panel employing a scratch-resistant full-color, 5-inch TFT LCD screen.
Suzuki leads off its own promo copy trumpeting this improvement, which sits in front the bars, above the headlight cowl, for convenient access and visibility, complemented by an anti-reflective coating that makes it easier to see in bright light.

This screen is just the most visible bit of tech, as the bike also boasts Ride-by-Wire electronic throttle bodies, the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.), three ride modes and the five-mode Advanced Traction Control System plus the brand’s Easy Start and Low RPM Assist systems.
Keeping up with current trends, the new GSX-S1000 also features the Suzuki Clutch Assist System (SCAS), which eases engine braking and shifting, especially in concert with the Bi-directional Quick Shift system.
The Metallic Triton Blue accents nicely extend from the cowl, tank and tail to the winglets and rims.Suzuki Cycles
All these features are, to some extent, the fixings that go alongside the meat and potatoes that make this bike such a robust street performer.
Those remain as substantial as ever, led by the engine, a GSX-R1000-derived 999cc inline-four promising plenty of punch, pickup and torque-y temptation.
This liquid-cooled 999cc power plant offers all you need to torch traffic and tear up twisties.Suzuki Cycles
As fast as you go, you stay under control thanks to ABS-equipped Brembo Monobloc brake calipers with dual, 310mm floating brake rotors.
Meanwhile, the fully adjustable KYB suspension lets the inverted forks handle the telescoping, rather than your spine.
Street fightin’, man
None of these compelling qualities comes at the expense of the bike style, thankfully.
That is very much retained courtesy of the aggressive stance and silhouette, complete with stacked mono-focus LED headlights and MotoGP-inspired aerodynamic radiator shrouds with winglets.
The appropriately named Candy Daring Red looks so fast it might just pick up a speeding ticket while parked.Suzuki Cycles
Paired with a superbike-inspired swingarm, the twin-spar aluminum frame offers an approachable 31.9-inch seat and upright street fighter ergonomics, letting you balance comfort and agility with every twist and turn of this lively 472-pounder.
As much as I loved a blacked-out naked street bike, I must admit even the new paint schemes are winning me over.
The deep red and blue echo Suzuki’s prime colors and nod to its racing pedigree, issuing a subtle challenge you are well equipped to meet at every stoplight.
Availability and pricing
The 2026 Suzuki GSX-S1000 rolls into dealerships in Candy Daring Red and Metallic Triton Blue at a starting price of $11,989.
