Beyond running quietly and being virtually invisible to thermal imaging, this Ukraine Ministry of Defense-endorsed electric moto boasts a number of features that make it appealing for use beyond the battlefield. These include a mid-mounted brushless direct drive motor boasting ample torque and a top speed of 50 mph, with the quick-swapping battery offering a range of about 60 miles. With a nimble curb weight of 231 pounds, the bike can carry up to 570, with knobby tires, long-travel suspension and nearly 15 inches of ground clearance promising to help you ride far off the beaten path.

CFMoto V4 SR-RR Prototype

CFMoto’s V4 SR-RR Prototype represents the Chinese brand’s most ambitious two-wheeled effort yet. Built around a 997cc V4 engine, it makes an authoritative 210 horsepower while weighing in at less than 441 pounds. What’s more, CFMoto has envisioned the bike with active aerodynamics, as the frontal winglets can adjust for both high-downforce and low-drag configurations.

Bunker BMW R nineT Scrambler Custom Build

This retro revamp by the Istanbul-based shop embraces the 2024 Scrambler’s natural strengths: BMW’s air/oil-cooled boxer twin, upright ergos, twin high-mounted exhausts and confident stance. Inspired by the BMW R 80 GS and Dakar models from the mid-1980s, the bike gets a substantial front fairing with a fog light, a racing-style custom fuel tank outer shell and a full set of matching custom parts including the air intake cover, side trim pieces, custom seat, side panels, rear fairing/rear tail section, rear fender, taillight area, rear rack and engine skid plate.

2027 Moto Morini X-Cape 1200

Like so many Italian-designed motos, this big-bore ADV beautifully blends function and form. The beating heart is the legendary Corsa Corta V-Twin, a liquid-cooled 1,187cc beast making 129 horsepower at 8,750 rpm and max torque of 78.2 ft. lb. at 7,000 rpm, but it also loads up on electronic assistance, including five ride modes, lean angle traction control, cruise control and cornering ABS. Comfort comes courtesy of heated seats and hand grips, a height adjustable windscreen and rider-friendly ergonomics. As for the style? Just look at it.

Ducati Desmo250 MX

Developed on track in Italian Prestige MX2 championship by Alessandro Lupino, Ducati’s latest off-roader draws on the strength of its big bro, the Desmo450 MX, to promise potent precision and power for its size. The beating heart is a new 249cc desmodromic engine, which can rev to 15,000 rpm with a broad torque curve for more power with less shifting. Hitting North American dealerships in August, the bike also boasts an agile chassis featuring a perimeter frame, aluminum swingarm, and Showa suspension with Kashima Coating, plus model-specific Ducati Traction Control and Predictive Maintenance, among many other highlights.

2009 Aprilia RS125

Aprilia’s RS125 is a tiny single-cylinder gem that combines a responsive chassis, two-stroke power and a svelte curb weight to punch above its displacement. While EPA emissions and noise regulations typically prohibit this type of motorcycle from being sold in the United States, the 2009 model year made for a rare instance of an OEM skirting the rules. Aprilia imported the boy-racer RS solely for closed-course use, even with the availability of lights, signals and mirrors. While that means you can’t enjoy it out on the street, its handling makes it a true track weapon. The example pictured here is crossing the auction block on Bring a Trailer, and it shows just 12 miles on the odometer.

2027 Beta 250 RXF

The RXF also features a frame purpose-built for balanced performance and KYB suspension tuned to suit the bike’s nimble 222.6-pound dry weight.

2026 Harley-Davidson Street Bob “Pink Savage”

This eye-popping ride stands out in Harley’s recently launched Creators Custom Clash, which sees influencers across Europe bring wild new treatments to stock bikes. Envisioned by Arjan van den Boom, the man behind Amsterdam’s Ironwood Custom Motorcycles, the “Pink Savage” scrambler-ifies the Street Bob with a raised suspension set-up, chain conversion, Pirelli MT60 RS tires and Rough Craft tail forming a coiled spring of a stance. Meanwhile, the custom Screamin’ Eagle Vortex Extreme intake and Vance & Hines Upsweep exhaust amp up the raw rumble of the Milwaukee-Eight engine, and the Ruby Stone Red paint scheme guarantees a double take.

2027 KTM 790 Duke

KTM’s 2027 790 Duke makes for a thorough refinement of ‘the Scalpel.’ Along with a fresh headlight design and some reshaped bodywork, it brings an all-new WP radial braking setup. Moreover, thanks to an updated Apex forkset and shock, the suspension offers both more travel and greater adjustability. Together with a host of tweaks to the handlebars, some repositioned footpegs and a narrowed fuel tank, it promises a far more versatile ride, even if the 105-horsepower LC8c twin remains the same.

NorthForge Dispatch

Continuing the micro trend of militaries embracing electric motos, the field testing-ready Dispatch emerges from nearly four years of consultations with the Canadian Armed Forces and other advisors. The 309-pound light tactical off-roader is purpose-built with a focus on surveillance and reconnaissance applications, can reach a top speed of nearly 70 mph and has a range of 124 miles. Canada-proud NorthForge also hypes the bike’s 440-pound cargo capacity, stealthy sub-50dB propulsion, field-reparable design and fast-swapping batteries, which can be replaced in under a minute.

Based in the small northwest German town of Rheda-Wiedenbrück, moto repair and parts shop Classicbike Raisch specializes in glow-ups of Triumph Modern Classics as well as BMW R12s and R9Ts. The best ad for their work might just be this recently revealed makeover, which boasts a number of pitch-perfect modifications including LSL handlebars, 17-inch rims paired with wide Pirelli Diabolo Supercorsa sports tires, MotoGadget bar-end indicators and more. The beating heart, a 1200cc parallel twin making 77 horsepower and max torque of 78 ft-lbs, remains as it should. Classicbike Raisch says a basic conversion costs €26,000, which roughly converts to $29,640 USD.
