Waxed jackets are among the most iconic pieces of outerwear of all time. They’ve also been a staple of the fashion and outdoor industries for literal centuries, dating back to the 1400s, when Scottish sailors used leftover sailcloth to craft more weatherproof apparel.

Wax on, not off
