Filson has just introduced a new ultra-premium addition to its legendary outerwear lineup. It’s easily the brand’s most expensive coat currently available, and sure to spark conversation.
A century old throwback

The Lined Mackinaw Wool Packer Coat combines heritage design with luxurious materials, resulting in a jacket that’s both supremely functional and decidedly bold.
The coat is a premium revival of sorts of Filson’s original Mackinaw Wool Cruiser, which was patented in 1914 and has remained a cornerstone of the brand’s collection for over a century.

It’s constructed from densely-woven 24-ounce Mackinaw Wool, the same heavy-duty fabric that made Filson’s reputation during the Klondike Gold Rush era. That material provides exceptional warmth and wind resistance while maintaining breathability – at least compared to modern synthetics.
