In the ’90s, the unparalleled fit of wraparound sunglasses was revolutionary, and Oakley’s Jacket line led the charge. Wraparounds are commonplace three decades later, but their influence is still felt in modern releases.

The newest drop in Oakley’s Field Gear Line (FGL) draws on the minimalist construction and iconic aesthetic of its original Jacket collection.

The FGL Stealth Jacket 1.0 combines lightweight, highly technical materials with functional details, creating a jacket that’s as practical as it is sleek.

The Field Gear Line started in the ’90s as a Japan-exclusive, outdoor oriented subset of Oakley, with a focus on durable and modern outerwear.

The line has expanded its distribution beyond Japan in the past few years. Its latest drop continues to blend minimalist styling and technical features, with the new FGL Stealth Jacket 1.0 an anchor piece in the new SS26 collection.

The sleek, pared-back aesthetic of the FGL Stealth 1.0, designed to be light and durable enough to make you forget you’re wearing it, is an homage to the Jacket sunglasses that paved the way for minimal, advanced outdoor gear.
