When it comes to sunglasses and optical frames, there is no shortage of choice in the market. So why not spend your money on a quality pair that gives back to the environment? That’s Timberland’s thinking. The brand’s new optical and sun releases include styles that bear the Earthkeepers mark, signifying that the product was designed from inception to reduce its impact on the environment and integrate bio-based materials.

With a commitment to plant 50 million trees by 2025, Timberland is working with several partners across the globe, including Treedom – a global web platform that offers the ability to watch a tree grow over time.

The two companies began planting the Timberland Forest in the northern region of the Daka River in Ghana as part of Africa’s "Great Green Wall" project. All trees are planted directly by local farmers and bring environmental, social and financial benefits to their communities.

Purchases of Timberland sunglasses and optical frames support these initiatives with Treedom to plant trees — up to 10,000 trees over a three-year span.

The 2022 eyewear collection reflects the brand’s heritage of performance, style and responsibility – including new styles featuring bio-based materials. Check out some of the styles featured in the collection below.
