Maine Mountain Moccasin released a new shoe for spring inspired by rugged moccasins used for tracking game. The lightweight Watch Shoe features an underlay collar gives which gives it a sleek look, a mudguard for extra durability and a Vibram Morflex 2060 outsole for comfort. The Natural Essex leather will develop a beautiful patina with time and the shoe features Blake-McKay construction so it can be re-soled in the future. Other interesting features include waxed-cotton laces made in Ohio and a memory foam sock-liner for ease of wear. Handmade in Maine, the Watch Shoe is available in half-sizes between 8.5 and 12 and costs $299.
