Internet Bag Experts Helped Make an Absurdly Theft-Proof Bag Even Better

Yes, internet bag experts are real and they’re doing wonders.

If you aren’t familiar, Carryology is a comprehensively nerdy online community and resource for all things bag-oriented. Pacsafe, meanwhile, is a maker of secure-and-tough bags ready for travel. As you’d expect, when the two get together to collaborate, the result is a wonderfully-geeky way to schlep your valuables, and their limited edition travel briefcase doesn’t disappoint.

The collaboration is based on Pacsafe’s Z400 briefcase design, already a tough, tech-packed bag. It features theft-prevention details like RFID-blocking pouches, locking zippers and a slash-proof strap and inner mesh cage. Carryology, however, gave the design a litany of style and detailing upgrades. For one, the outer shell is made from 200D Nylon and 600D polyester which is not only durable but adds a handsome and subtle textured weave. There are also vegetable-tanned leather accents on the zipper pulls and grab handles, and the inside of the bag is done up in an eye-popping orange color.

The bag is available right now from Pacsafe’s website, but consider acting quickly: only 150 pieces will be made.
