Heritage outdoor brand Filson teamed up with footwear maker Merrell to produce a pair of rugged go-anywhere sandals. The Convert Sandals feature three-point durable canvas straps that are adjustable for a individual fit.
To minimize foot fatigue, the sandals have compression-molded arched EVA footbeds and shock-absorbent Air Cushion midsoles. The rubber outsoles have multi-directional treads to provide increased traction and the sandals have raised ridges around the footbeds to protect feet from side impacts (or abrasion from sticks or rocks). Priced at $120, they’ll be a welcome addition to your next summer adventure.
