While Carhartt and its European counterpart, Carhartt WIP, share the same workwear foundation, the two brands approach that heritage differently.

The original is known for its no-nonsense, durable apparel and accessories, while Carhartt WIP reinterprets those designs through a more fashion-conscious, contemporary lens.

Carhartt WIP’s Quentin Jacket is one such example. While it’s a modern silhouette built with contemporary materials rather than a direct archival reproduction, it captures the spirit of Carhartt’s rugged practicality. Now, it returns for Fall 2026 in a monochromatic black colorway.

The new Black/Black colorway makes the Quentin Jacket feel more contemporary than previous versions, which include Raven/Black (a dark green) and Tobacco.

The sleek colorway allows the refreshed jacket to be worn to dressier events without standing out as gauche.
